Nachdem wir euch die neue Container, die neue Quantum und die neue All4One TP52 bereits hier vorgestellt haben, kommen nun die ersten Bilder der neuen Ran von Skype-Gründer Niklas Zennström. Die TP52 Ran wurde, wie die Container, bei Green Marine in Lymington gebaut und auch in die selbe, von Judel & Vrolijk gezeichnete, Form laminiert.
Der besondere und einzigartige Eyecatcher bei diesem Boot ist sicher die goldene Kielbombe. Im Blog des Teams Ran ist zu diesem Thema folgendes zu lesen:
The sea goddess Ran in the Norse mythology lives at the bottom of the sea. She uses a net to capture sailors and drag them down to her, where she also holds wild parties from time to time. The way to be safe and not be captured is for the sailors to hold a piece of gold, according to the mythology. That’s why we made sure to equip the new Ran with a golden bulb that should be well visible from the bottom of the sea!
Eine goldene Kielbombe für die Meeres-Göttin … stellt sich die Frage ob unser obligatorischer “Schluck für Neptun” da auch weiterhin ausreichend ist.
